I read the one from Technology Review with some interest because it tends to be more rooted in fact than many others (you know which they are).
The key takeaway for me is that 3 out of 10 are related to biology. The new founded power of Immunology and DNA manipulation (CRISPR-Cas9) make it to the list albeit the DNA manipulation is being discussed in relation to plant genome modifications. Get ready for blue strawberries with extra flavinoids. I think this is more realistic with human and animal modifications taking a bit longer.
And the best of all is the DNA app store where applications are built on top of the infrastructure which is getting rapidly commoditised. Like Helix.
